JAMESTOWN – The first weekend of August will provide for some nice and comfortable weather. Plenty of sunshine with temperatures near average.
Friday afternoon will be mainly sunny with temperatures in the lower 80’s. There is a very small chance of a pop up shower or thunderstorm in the afternoon across the Southern Tier.
Tonight is day three of the Gerry Rodeo and It’s looking to be another picture perfect evening. Mainly Clear skies with temperatures near 60.
Saturday will be a near repeat of Friday. Plenty of sunshine with temperatures continuing in the lower 80’s. Again there is a very small risk for a pop up shower or thunderstorm in the afternoon. Saturday evening will feature good weather for the races at Stateline or the final day of the Gerry rodeo. Temperatures in the upper 50’s.
A weak cold front will pass through early Sunday morning that may set off a few scattered showers or thunderstorms. Otherwise it will be partly cloudy with temperatures in the upper 70’s.
As we head into next week the mainly dry weather looks to continue early on in the week before a few better chances for rain arrive mid week along with some more humid conditions.
