Jamestown Man Dies Following Crash On Rt. 394 Near Kennedy

POLAND – A City of Jamestown man died from injuries suffered in a crash on Rt. 394 near the I-86 overpass in the Town of Poland Wednesday afternoon.

The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office reports Terry Telschow, 67, was traveling west on the roadway when he apparently crossed the center line, entered the eastbound lane and struck another vehicle head-on.

Deputies said Telschow suffered serious injuries in the wreak. He was flown by Mercy Flight to ECMC Hospital where he later died.


The driver of the other vehicle, Landon Armstrong, 35, of Conewango Valley, was taken to UPMC Chautauqua for evaluation but deputies said he did not appear to have any significant injuries.

Investigators say no charges are being filed in the incident.
