MENLO PARK, CAL. – A new study investigating alleged bias by Facebook against Conservatives and those opposing abortion, found that Conservative voices were silenced and some anti-abortion advertising was denied.

The study was conducted by former Republican Sen. Jon Kyl and the law firm of Covington and Burling.

The study found that Facebook’s attempts to fight misinformation led to the silencing of some Conservative voices and some anti-abortion ads were denied because of a Facebook policy against “sensational advertising.”

Kyl said more needs to be done, but thatFacebook is making some improvements.

Kyl spoke with more than 130 Conservative lawmakers and organizations during his probe and noted in a column recently that many Conservative Americans feel blocked from many cultural institutions because of their views.
