
ASHFORD – Two Cattaraugus County residents are facing drug charges after investigators say they found crack cocaine and crystal methamphetamine inside their house Wednesday.
Brandon M. May, 32, and Brandi L. Schoonmaker, 30, were arrested after investigators from the Southern Tier Regional Drug Taskforce raided their home at 5222 Folts Rd.
Investigators also allegedly found scales and packaging material which is generally consistent with the sale and distribution of illegal narcotics.
May is charged with criminal using drug paraphernalia and third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Schoonmaker is charged with criminal using drug paraphernalia and fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Deputies said the two may face more charges, and more arrests are pending in the case.
Both May and Schoonmaker were remained to Cattaraugus County Jail on $5,000 bail.
The Southern Tier Regional Drug Taskforce is comprised of members of the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office, Salamanca Police Department, Franklinville Police Department and New York State Police.
