Two Arrested Following Alleged Armed Robbery

DUNKIRK – Two City of Dunkirk men are behind bars after allegedly robbing a residence at gunpoint on Washington Avenue Sunday.

Jonathan R. Sidaui, 29, and David B. Anzalone, 35, are both charged with second-degree robbery and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Officers with Dunkirk Police said they responded to a call of an armed robbery around 10:40 p.m. Residents inside the house alleged that two men forcibly took an amount of property from the victim before fleeing the scene.











Within minutes, officers said they located the duo in a vehicle with several items belonging to the victim. Police also said they found a realistic looking pellet gun and illegal narcotics.

Both were arraigned in Dunkirk City Court and remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail.

Police said additional charges are also possible for the two men.
