FALCONER – A Falconer man allegedly burnt a TV illegally near the rear of an apartment in the Village of Falconer last week, according to the Ellicott Police Department.

Police said they were conducting a routine patrol Friday morning when they discovered an abundance of black smoke coming from the rear of an apartment building.

Randal L. Cross, 53, was issued an appearance ticket for illegal open burning.

Police said he is scheduled to appear in Town of Ellicott Court at a later date.
