Woman Arrested After Allegedly Hitting Person With Glass Bottle

NORTH HARMONY – A Bemus Point woman was arrested after the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office alleged she struck a person in the face during an incident near the I-86 exit in the Town of North Harmony.

Deputies were called to the area of Rt. 394 and I-86 late Sunday evening.

Through investigation, they determined that Sally M. Lawson, 62, allegedly hit a person in the face with a glass bottle.











Lawson was reportedly traveling with the person in her car at the time of the incident.

She is charged with second-degree harassment.

Deputies report Lawson was taken into custody and held at Chautauqua County Jail pending arraignment.
