Jamestown Yard Waste Site Winding Down Operation For Fall Season

JAMESTOWN – The Jamestown Board of Public Utilities are winding down operation of its yard waste site with condensed hours starting next week.

BPU officials announced Monday the site will be open from 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday at its Monroe Street location.

After that, officials said the site will be open through Saturday, November 9 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.


A Yard Waste Site sticker must be affixed to your car window for access to the site.

Sticker are available free-of-charge for solid waste residentials at the BPU Customer Service Office on Steele Street.

The Yard Waste Site generally operates on a spring – fall schedule.
