Jamestown Man Charged With DWAI Drug/Alcohol Combination In Traffic Stop

JAMESTOWN – A Jamestown man was charged following a traffic stop near the intersection of Prospect Street and McKinley Avenue Wednesday morning, according to the Jamestown Police Department. 

Police said Juan A. Batista-Ginorio, 30, allegedly refused to exit the vehicle to perform field sobriety tests. Batistia-Ginorio was charged with second-degree obstruction governmental administration, as a result.

Batista-Ginorio allegedly refused to submit to a chemical test to determine the alcohol or drug content of his blood when taken to Jamestown City Jail for booking.











Batista-Ginorio was subsequently charged with felony DWAI drug/alcohol combination, refusal to take a breath test and vehicle and traffic violations.
