Man Arrested After Reportedly Fleeing Police During Warrant Check

JAMESTOWN – A Jamestown man was arrested after reportedly fleeing police during a warrant check near the intersection of West 8th and Cherry Streets Thursday night.

Jamestown Police say Edwin F. Rosario, 31, is charged with second-degree obstructing governmental administration and on an arrest warrant.

Police report Rosario refused to comply with officers’ commands and lead them on a foot pursuit.











Rosario was eventually taken into custody. Police said he was held in Jamestown City Jail pending arraignment.
