Man Charged With Arson After Allegedly Setting Fire To Outhouse

SHERMAN – An 18-year-old Town of Sherman man is facing charges after the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office says he set fire to an outhouse at the Village of Sherman Park Thursday evening.

Deputies alleged the man set fire to a hand sanitizer dispenser in the outhouse.

The man was arrested and charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief and fifth-degree arson.











He was released on appearance tickets and is schedule to return to the Town of Sherman Court at a later date.
