Duo Charged In Jamestown Drive-By Shooting To Stand Trial This Month

MAYVILLE – Two Jamestown residents charged with three counts of second-degree attempted murder and one count of first-degree assault will stand trial Oct. 29 in Chautauqua County Court, according to a court clerk. 

Rasul N. Bonds, 31, and Corey M. Johnson, 20, are charged in connection with a drive-by shooting that occurred Jan. 30 at North Main and Ninth Streets.

Jamestown Police said one man was shot in the face and was seriously injured as he was walking with two other people.


Both men are in Chautauqua County Jail on $200,000 bail.
