Cattaraugus Man Arrested Following Burglary

NAPOLI – A Cattaraugus man was arrested following a Tuesday burglary at a home on Manley Hill Road in the Town of Napoli.

The Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office reports that Jay D. Phillips, 34, is charged with third-degree burglary and fourth-degree criminal mischief following a reported break-in.

Deputies said that Phillips allegedly entered a garage and shed without permission; allegedly damaging property inside.











Deputies said Phillips was found hiding in a wooded area nearby and taken into custody.

Phillips was arraigned in Little Valley Town Court and remanded to county jail on $2,500 cash or $5,000 bond bail.
