Man Arrested After Allegedly Striking Girlfriend In Face During Domestic

GREAT VALLEY – A Cattaraugus County man was arrested after sheriff’s deputies alleged he struck his girlfriend in the face during a domestic dispute over the weekend.

The Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office says Desmond A. Jimerson, 47, of Great Valley, also damaged property in their home while children were present during the incident that happened Sunday evening.

Furthermore, while deputies attempted to arrest Jimerson they said he became irate and belligerent towards them.











Jimerson was eventually taken into custody and charged with six counts of endangering the welfare of a child, second-degree harassment, fourth-degree criminal mischief, obstruction of governmental administration and resisting arrest.
