CELORON – The Chautauqua Harbor Hotel will be hosting a world-renowned pediatric lecturer to present “The Vulnerable Child and Family Developing a Comprehensive System of Care”.
The lecture, presented by Dr. Ira Chasnoff, will cover substance use in pregnancy, maternal consequences of prenatal drug/ alcohol use fetal alcohol spectrum disorders (FASD), impact of exposure on the growing child, and developing a system of care in Chautauqua County uniting, in an attempt to bring together medical professionals, social workers, families and support for pregnant and mothers of at-risk children.
The lecture will be held on November 4 from 8:00 am until 4:00 pm with registration beginning promptly at 7:45 am.
