Man Arrested After Allegedly Choking, Punching Woman During Domestic

JAMESTOWN – A Cherry Creek man is facing several charges after Jamestown Police responded to a domestic violence assault overnight on Willard Street.

Joshua M. Livermore, 37, is charged with second-degree strangulation, second-degree unlawful imprisonment and third-degree assault.

Officers said they responded to the area of 503 Willard St. just after 12:30 a.m. Saturday for a reported domestic incident.











Police on scene spoke to a female victim who alleged the Livermore held her on the ground, choked and punched her causing facial injuries.

Officers said Livermore left the scene prior to their arrival, but, was located a short time later and taken into custody without incident.

Police report Livermore was taken to Jamestown City Jail pending arraignment in the case.
