DUNKIRK – Chautauqua County Board of Election officials say the City of Dunkirk’s Mayoral race is ‘too close to call.’

With just over 50% of the vote, current longtime Democrat Mayor Willie Rosas sits just ahead of Republican challenger Shaun Heenan.

Rosas is currently 48 votes ahead of Heenan, who has 1542 votes.

Election officials say the race will come down to 123 absentee ballots that have yet to be counted.
