The Girl Scouts of Western New York say around twenty-five volunteers from the Friends of Timbercrest group made enhancements to the camp’s lake tail, painted the new boat shed and assembled the first shipment of new picnic tables that will be installed next year.

“We thank our amazing Friends of Timbercrest volunteers for their continued generosity to help provide enriching outdoor experiences for girls and prepare girls for a lifetime of leadership,” said Jerilyn Hickey, Chief Development Officer at Girl Scouts of Western New. “It is through the kindness of our volunteers and donors that Girl Scouts is a place where girls can explore, discover, and just be themselves.”

This was the 5th annual work weekend in the group’s history.

Camp Timbercrest is located at 11169 Moore Rd., just outside of Randolph.
