Man Charged In Heroin Overdose Death

BOLIVAR – A Village of Bolivar man was arrested in connection with a fatal overdose last week.

New York State Police’s Violent Gang and Narcotics Enforcement Team arrested Michael J. Perkins, 38, following an overdose death on Friday.

Troopers said Perkins was charged after allegedly providing the fatal dose of heroin/fentanyl to the victim.











Perkins is charged with criminally negligent homicide, a E felony, and third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, a B felony.

He was arraigned in the Town of Friendship Court and sent to the Allegany County Jail in lieu of $50,000/$100,00 bail.
