A Cloudy Afternoon, Brief Warm Up Late Week


JAMESTOWN – This afternoon will be mainly dry across Western New York. Tonight, a few rain and snow showers will develop. We’ll see a brief warmup by mid week, before it cools back down for the weekend.

The rest of this afternoon will be mainly cloudy with a few peaks of sunshine. Temperatures will hover near 40 to the lower 40’s.


A weak disturbance will pass by the region tonight, allowing for a few rain and snow showers to develop across the area. Lows tonight will drop into the lower 30’s.

Tomorrow will be mainly cloudy with a few scattered rain or snow showers possible. Highs will once again be near 40.

It will briefly warm up by late week, but it won’t last long. Thursday we’ll see temperatures reach the upper 40’s to near 50. Although it will be cloudy with a few rain showers around.



Friday will start off with temperatures in the mid 40’s, before they drop off in the afternoon into the 30’s. It will be breezy if not windy Friday morning as a cold front crosses the region. Otherwise it will be cloudy with rain showers.

As of now the weekend will be a bit cooler, with a few snow showers around.
