
ASHVILLE – A City of Jamestown man is facing several charges after New York State Police alleged he hit a person in the face during a domestic dispute late last week.
Troopers say David Soderberg, 30, was arrested Friday following a report of a domestic disturbance.
Investigation revealed that Soderberg allegedly struck the victim in the face several times causing injury.
Furthermore, police said Soderberg had an order of protection to stay away from the victim.
Soderberg was arrested and taken to the New York State Police Barracks in Jamestown for processing.
Troopers said he is charged with third-degree assault and second-degree criminal contempt.
Soderberg was later taken to the Chautauqua County Jail.
