BUFFALO – A Village of Fredonia man was arrested after allegedly sexually abusing an eight-year-old girl over the summer.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office in Buffalo says Dustin Post, 24, allegedly took the girl, a family friend, to a house, blindfolded her, and sexually abused her.

Additionally, the girl told police Post likely video-recorded the abuse, adding that he showed her pictures of other children and explained that he had videos of other children engaging in similar conduct.

This month, investigators removed a cell phone, a laptop computer and four flash drives from Post’s residence. An initial review of the electronic devices recovered allegedly show multiple images and videos of suspected child pornography.

Specifically, police said they found video abuse of an 11-year-old girl and a Snapchat video abuse of a 12-year-old girl sent to his phone.

Investigators are asking anyone with information in the case to contact the Homeland Security Office at 716-464-6070 or HSIBuffaloTips@ice.dhs.gov.

Post was charged by criminal complaint with production of child pornography.

The charge carries a mandatory minimum penalty of 15 years in prison, a maximum of 30 years in prison and a fine of $250,000.
