JAMESTOWN – Weather forecasters say a winter storm will likely bring ice and snow to parts of the area on Sunday.

The National Weather Service in Buffalo issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Chautauqua and Cattaraugus Counties.

Forecasters expect mixed precipitation to fall in parts of the western southern tier from 1 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday.

Total ice accumulations of one to two tenths of an inch is expected. Less than one inch of snow is expected.

Sleet or freezing rain will likely result in slippery roads and limited visibilities as well.
