Rudy Needs A Home, Can You Help?

JAMESTOWN – The Chautauqua County Humane Society will be hosting their annual ‘Season of Hope’ open house on Saturday, with the goal of helping several dogs like Rudy find a good home.

Brian Papalia, the Director of Community Relations for the group, says Rudy is one wild and crazy guy looking for a good home.

“He loves to run around, play fetch, and come in for a cuddle when he’s done,” said Papalia. “He would do best in an active home with plenty of people to keep him busy.”

Saturday’s open house will be held at the group’s adoption center, 2825 Strunk Road in Jamestown, from Noon until 3 p.m. also giving visitor’s and their pets the opportunity to get pictures with Santa.

Photos with Santa, taken by Bernadette van der Vliet of BMTphotos Photography in Lakewood, will be available for a $10 donation. Photos will be e-mailed to each donor along with the opportunity to purchase prints.

The open house ties into the ‘Season of Hope’ adoption drive that runs from Black Friday to December 23. This is the third year of the effort that is geared towards getting more than 100 animals home during the holiday season.
