Jamestown Police Find Missing Runaway Girl

JAMESTOWN – Jamestown Police say a girl who first went missing in October 2019 has been found.

Gianna Coleman, 13, was located Wednesday afternoon at a residence in Jamestown.

Officers say she was turned over to a parent. Furthermore, tip from a citizen led to her location.

Police say Coleman had a history of running away from home and was reported missing multiple times last year.

She was reportedly in contact with several people via social media in the Jamestown area while on the run.

  1. Does an investigation into this child’s disappearance continue? Was this child kidnapped or a runaway? Was she concealed from authorities? Will charges be placed against a responsible party at the residence where she was found? If not, why not? What was the child’s relationship to parties at the residence? Was it familial?
