Man Arrested After Allegedly Hitting Woman, Pushing Her Into Wall

JAMESTOWN – A City of Jamestown man was arrested Thursday night after allegedly hitting a woman in the ribs and pushing her into a wall during a domestic dispute on W. 6th Street just after 9 p.m.

Jamestown Police say David Burkhart 3rd, 27, had a order of protection to stay away from the female victim.

Officers say Burkhart was arrested and charged with first-degree criminal contempt and second-degree harassment.











Burkhart was taken to Jamestown City Jail pending arraignment in the case.
