JAMESTOWN – Jamestown based Bush Industries has a new owner.

Bush was purchased by Bestar, a rival ready-to-assemble furniture maker based in Canada.

Previously, Bush was owned by Lorraine Capital, a Buffalo-based private equity firm.

The furniture producer is now expected to go by the Bestar name.

Bush employees around 300 people in Jamestown, 400 companywide.
