Some Without Power After Trees Brings Down Lines Near Jamestown

UPDATE: Electricity has been restored on Willard Street Extension and all customers should be back in power soon.

ELLICOTT – Some Jamestown Board of Public Utilities customers are without power as crews work to repair lines brought down by tree limbs Thursday afternoon.

Rebecca Robbins, the utility’s communications coordinator, says linemen are working on Willard Street Extension, east of Swanson Road toward Buffalo Street Extension and Peck-Settlement Road. 











Approximately 99 electric customers will be without power while crews repair the lines. 

No estimated repair time was known, but crews say they are working to restore electricity as soon as possible.
