MAYVILLE – An inmate at the Chautauqua County Jail is facing charges after allegedly bringing methamphetamine into the facility.

Deputies with the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office say Diana Bloom, 54, of Jamestown, was allegedly found with the drugs after they received report from jail personnel.

Bloom is charged with first-degree promoting prison contraband and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Deputies say Bloom will appear in the Town of Chautauqua Court on a later date to answer the charges.
