Wanted Man Arrested, Charged With Possession Of An ‘Illegal Weapon’

WESTFIELD – A man wanted by authorities out of Warren County, Pennsylvania was arrested Wednesday after Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Deputies say they found him with an ‘illegal weapon’.

Deputies say John Houser, 30, of Westfield, was taken into custody during a warrant check in the Town of Westfield.

Through investigation, Houser was allegedly in possession of an illegal weapon. Although, deputies did not specify what the weapon was.











Houser was arrested and charged with third-degree criminal possession of a weapon. He was taken to the Chautauqua County Jail to await arraignment.

Deputies say further charges may be pending following a subsequent investigation by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
