Man Charged With DWI Following Traffic Stop On I-86

MINA – A Town of Chautauqua man is facing several charges after the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office alleged he was driving while intoxicated on I-86.

Deputies say Jesse Kovitch, 25, was pulled over just before 2 a.m. Saturday after a vehicle complaint was called in to the department.

Through investigation, deputies alleged Kovitch was driving drunk.


Kovitch is charged with DWI, aggravated DWI-blood alcohol content .18% or greater, move from lane unsafely and unregistered motor vehicle.

Deputies say Kovitch is scheduled to appear in Mina Town Court at a later date.
