ELLICOTT – Statements from the man accused of setting a weekend house fire in Falconer contributed to his arrest, according to a criminal complaint obtained by WNYNewsNow.
Cody A. Dustin, 24, is charged with third-degree arson, a Class C felony, in connection with the fire at 217 E. Pearl St. Dustin was arrested Wednesday and released with an appearance ticket.
Authorities said statements were also gathered from a witness, as well as from a report constructed by Chautauqua County Fire Investigators.
In addition, Ellicott Police previously stated that the fire was ruled as “incendiary.”
