Mother Arrested After Good Samaritan Finds Child Wandering Alone

JAMESTOWN – A City of Jamestown mother was arrested Monday evening after officers say her child was found wandering alone.

Police responded to 508 W. 8th Street around 5:30 p.m.

Officers say the four-year-old was found by a good samaritan who alleged this was the second time this year she found the child alone.











Through investigation officers alleged that the child’s mother, Corinna McCreary, 37, was sleeping at home.

Police say McCreary left the child unattended for at least three hours.

McCreary was arrested and charged with endangering the welfare of a child.









The child was released to a family member.
