BUSTI – A Town of Busti home was destroyed by fire on Saturday night.
Several area fire departments were dispatched to 2924 Busti Stillwater Rd. around 9:45 p.m.
The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Fire Investigation Team says the blaze started within the residence due to combustible material being in close proximity to an overheated water pump.
Crews from Busti, Kiantone, Fluvanna, Frewsburg, Lakewood, Celoron, Ashville and Sugar Grove were on scene for several hours as they battled the blaze.
Officials said no injuries were reported.
