UPDATE: Police say the missing vulnerable adult, Frances Galofaro, has been located safe.

DUNKIRK – Police in Chautauqua County are looking for a missing 85-year-old woman who may have Dementia.

The Dunkirk Police Department says they are attempting to locate Frances Galofaro.

Police believe that Galofaro left the City of Dunkirk at approximately 10:15 a.m. Tuesday morning.

Officers say she has been experiencing dementia type symptoms over the past few days.









They believe Galofaro may be headed to Wellsville via I-86. Relatives think that she could be in the area of the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Wellsville.

Galofaro is operating a gray colored 2014 Chevrolet Malibu bearing New York Registration BBZ-7184.

If she is seen, police say call 911 or contact the authorities closest to her location. Those with information are asked to contact Dunkirk Police at (716)-366-2266.
