JAMESTOWN – Today marks the first official day of Summer and it will definitely feel like it featuring sunshine, warmth, and scattered chances for pop-up thunderstorms.

For Saturday, partly cloudy skies, scattered pop-up thunderstorms are possible in the afternoon. These storms will be slow movers with the potential for localized flooding. Highs today in the lower to mid-80’s.

Saturday night, partly cloudy skies with a slight chance of a thunderstorm in the evening. Otherwise lows tonight in the lower-60’s.

Sunday will be a near repeat of Saturday. Partly cloudy, slight chance for a pop-up scattered storm. It will be a bit warmer, with highs reaching the upper-80’s.

Monday this pattern continues, before a cold front passes by on Tuesday increasing the chances for badly needed rain across the region. Behind the front, temperatures cool off for mid-week into the 70’s.
