LAKEWOOD – Another local business has been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic and will close at the end of the month.
Schuyler’s Kitchen will be closing as a restaurant on Sunday, August 30, as posted on social media.
“Sunday, August 30 will be our last day open to serve you. COVID-19 restrictions has changed how we do business and we will be unable to survive. Once our big tent outside comes down and the weather changes, it will not be lucrative to stay in business,” the business said in its post.
The restaurant owner went on to say the small size of the building may leave customers I’ll at ease.
“We feel that several of our community members will not feel safe eating in such a cozy atmosphere, no matter when the restrictions end.”
They will continue to serve ‘To Go Breakfast’ on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. until August 30. Chicken BBQ’s will continue if the numbers support it, on Saturday’s in August from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.
To order call 716-456-5888 or 716-526-4233.
