One More Comfy Day Then Back To Humidity

JAMESTOWN – The heat and humidity have come down for the next day or so but we’ll be right back into summer by the weekend with a few showers possible.

After the passage of the cold front Tuesday night, the humidity values have come down with an area of high pressure building in to our west. That high will rule through the next day before another surge of warm and humid air returns for the weekend.


If you have a chance, get out and watch the Perseid meteor shower tonight. The shower is still peaking tonight and with mainly clear skies early, we will have a great chance for seeing the meteors.

A few clouds will start to move in overnight with some patches of fog developing along the valley locations. Lows 56 in the valleys, 64 at the Lake Erie shoreline.



Tomorrow will be another sunny day with the humidity remaining low. Highs 77 to 86.

As we head into Friday, another surge of heat and humidity will be making a return once again. We should remain dry with a good supply of sunshine. Highs in the mid 80’s.

With highs amounts of humidity, a few scattered showers and thunderstorms will be possible each day over the weekend. However it will not be a total washout. highs in the lower 80’s.

Another storm system moving close the region will bring a better chance for showers and storms on Monday. While the temps come down, the humidity will still be in play a little bit. Highs in the upper 70’s.



Another shift in the wind flow will bring cooler air back into the region once again. Highs will drop into lower 70’s on Tuesday.
