JAMESTOWN – If you love fall, you will love the weather we have in store over the next couple of days with lots of sunshine to go along with the cooler air.
Another Cold front is lurking back to the north and will be moving through tonight ushering in another push of cooler air which will stay with us throughout much of the week. We’ll start warming up again by the weekend but the humidity will stay moderate.
Partly cloudy and quiet skies will take us through the night tonight with some areas of patchy fog developing along the valley locations by morning. A few spots in the colder pockets may dip to 49, 48 by sunrise. Average lows 50 to 59.
Lots of sunshine will take us through Wednesday. With the front shifting our wind direction to the north, we will struggle to reach the lower 70’s in several spots. Highs 67 to 75.
After a crisp and cool start to the day on Thursday, the strong August sun will continue with highs in the mid 70’s.
We’ll warm up a bit on Friday with high in the lower 80’s with lots of sunshine.
We’ll keep that sunshine going with milder air on Saturday.
Heading into next week, a few showers could be possible both Sunday and Monday with high near the averages for this time of year in the upper 70’s.
