JAMESTOWN – As we have been advertising, this holiday weekend will be a nice one with a good supply of sunshine to go around and cooler temperatures.

After the passage of the Cold front last night, the temperatures and the humidity have came down with a more north to northwest wind aloft. We will keep cooler and less humidity air going right through the holiday weekend before a brief return to some humidity early next week.

With dew points dropping into the 40’s overnight tonight, many locations will dip back into upper 40’s tonight with some locations along the Lake Erie shoreline staying near the 60 degree mark. The evening will start mainly clear with a few clouds moving in overnight.

Tomorrow will be another great day with lots of sunshine and highs struggling to reach 70; forecasting highs 66 to 74.

Sunshine will continue into Sunday with highs in the lower 70’s.

We’ll see an influx of humidity on Labor Day but we will stay dry with a good amount of sunshine. Highs near 80.

As we send the kids back to school on Tuesday and Wednesday, both days will be dry with a good amount of sunshine. Milder and slightly muggy. Highs in the lower 80’s.

A couple showers will be possible on Thursday with another cool down coming as highs drop into the lower 70’s.
