Fredonia Issues State Of Emergency Following Problem With Water System

FREDONIA – A State of Emergency is in effect for the Village of Fredonia due to a problem with the water system.

On Thursday, the Chautauqua County Health Department ordered customers of the Village of Fredonia Water System to boil water after high levels of cloudiness was found in a water sample taken on Wednesday.

Village officials are helping to distribute drinking water to residents until the situation ends.
