JAMESTOWN – Fall will take a very brief vacation tomorrow as a surge of warmer air pushes in. Then, it’s back to the cool stuff for the remainder of the week into early next week.
With the Jet Stream continuing to dig into the northeast, we will stay on the cooler side of things. However, a brief shift in the wind flow aloft will bring one day of warmer temperatures before we bring back the fall-like air for the rest of the week.
Another mainly clear night will be coming up tonight but it will not be as a chilly as it was last night. Overnight lows 45 in the valleys, 54 at the Lake Erie shoreline.
Sunshine will take us through the day on Wednesday with warmer temperatures. Highs 74 to 83.
There will be a small chance for a morning shower on Thursday with afternoon clearing. Highs in the upper 60’s.
We’ll stay dry and cool on Friday with a good supply of sunshine. Highs near 60.
The weekend will be nice and dry with lots of sunshine, cooler fall-like air with highs in the lower 60’s.
