CELORON – A 25-year-old was charged in connection with a vehicle theft over the weekend in the Village of Celoron.

Town of Ellicott Police report Robbie Steams allegedly took a vehicle without the owner’s permission on Saturday.

The vehicle, police say, was later located in Jamestown.


Steams is charged with fourth-degree grand larceny in the case.

Police say he was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to face the charge in Town of Ellicott Court at a later date.
