DUNKIRK – A 24-year-old is facing charges after police say he crashed into a house in Dunkirk on Wednesday night.

New York State Police say Brandon Perry was speeding north on Urban Road when he lost control of his Jeep, crossed over the southbound lane, struck a parked vehicle in the driveway of a home and then crashed into the side of the house.

Perry, troopers say, was taken to Brooks Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police say he was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.

The owner of the house was home alone, sitting on a couch inches away from being struck.
