22-Year-Old Skateboarder Killed In Town Of Ellery Car, Pedestrian Crash

ELLERY – A 22-year-old skateboarder from Bemus Point was killed after he was struck by a car on Sunday night.

New York State Police say Bannon Eimiller was riding his skateboard on Route 430 in the Town of Ellery around 9 p.m. when he was hit by a 2011 Chevy Malibu.











Troopers attempted life saving measures including CPR and utilizing an AED unit until paramedics arrived.

Eimiller was pronounced dead at the scene and later taken to the Erie County Medical Center.

Police did not say if the vehicle’s driver, an unidentified 19-year-old, will face charges.









The State Police Collision Reconstruction Unit and the Bureau of Criminal Investigation assisted in this investigation.
