Man Accused Of Punching Paramedic Following Cattaraugus County Crash

DAYTON – A 42-year-old man is facing charges after allegedly punching a paramedic following a motor vehicle crash in Cattaraugus County last week.

The Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office says Joshua Johns was involved in a Thursday evening crash on Route 62 in the Town of Dayton.

He was arrested after allegedly punching a paramedic in the face. The medic, deputies report, was attempting to provide medical attention on scene.


Johns is charged with third-degree assault. Following processing, he was released with an appearance ticket.
