WASHINGTON – New York Senator Kirsten Gillibrand has launched a new effort to combat antisemitism across the nation.

This week Gillibrand joined over two dozen of her senate colleagues in writing a letter to Senators Chris Coons and Lindsey Graham.

The group is requesting $1.25 million for the U.S. State Department’s Office of the Special Envoy to Monitor and Combat Anti-Semitism.

This comes after the Senator introduced the envoy back in January.
