Police Recover Heroin/Fentanyl Compound, Over $14,500 Following Raid

JAMESTOWN – Police recovered a heroin/fentanyl compound and over $14,500 in cash following a drug raid last week in Jamestown.

The Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force executed search warrants at 839 and 846 Lafayette Street last Tuesday.











Inside the properties, investigators say over seven ounces of the compound drug, a scale, packaging materials, and cash was discovered.

The investigation is continuing, and police say charges are expected at a later time.

The Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force was assisted by the Town of Ellicott Police Department, Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force, and Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office.
