Reward Offered For Info In Jamestown Stolen Statue Case

JAMESTOWN – An up to $2,500 reward is now offered for information leading to the arrest of those responsible for stealing a statue in Jamestown.

Crime Stoppers WNY announced the new incentive on Monday for information surrounding the Underground Railroad sculpture theft.

Part of the “Underground Railroad Tableau” exhibit, the copper sculpture was stolen from Dow Park on May 10.











The statue, officials say, is worth up to $2,000.

Those with information are asked to call (716) 867-6161 or submit a tip by downloading the free Crime Stoppers Mobile App “Buffalo Tips” from the Android or Apple store.
