WESTFIELD – A 26-year-old man was arrested Friday in connection with an arson fire in the Town of Westfield last year.

Following a lengthy investigation, the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office alleges Andrew Sissem set a barn fire on Route 20 in Westfield in July 2020.

Sissem, deputies say, was arrested and charged with third-degree arson today.

He was taken into custody by the Chautauqua County Road Patrol and brought to the Chautauqua County Jail for arraignment.

Sissem is set to appear in the Town of Westfield Court at a later date.
